When was the last time Tetsuya Nomura kept a promise? Last I've heard, he wanted to keep Versus XIII a Sony exclusive. Now that it came to the Xbox One, looks like that promised shattered like a baseball hitting a mirror.

FFversusXIII always had an "Exclusively on PS3" quote at the end of its trailers since it was announced way back in 2006. We waited 7 years, and now it's on Xbox One too. If that does not sound like a major kick to the nuts by Square Enix, then I guess you're one of the people who don't mind getting slapped by Microsoft's DRM.

But then again, this is Square Enix. Their glory days are almost over.

Let me ask you somethings how does a game being on 2 systems more powerful than the system it was announced for affect you in a bad way clearly the game they wanted to make wasn't even possible on ps3 and that is the only way I could see ppl getting upset. I bought a ps3 for this game and now ill buy a ps4. And if some people who are buying xb1s (for whatever reason) wanna get xv on that than good for them. I'm just glad its finally moving forward again

I'd love to see FF15 on PC! This game looks like one of the better FF games and it will be nice to have this game engine over the FF13 engine this generation. The games that were released on PC by SE (tomb raider and dues ex human revolution) were the best game by them this generation. I'd like to finally see a good jrpg coming from this company too since that is what they are supposed to be good at.

Well it was exclusive when it was ffvs13 until they moved it to x1 and ps4. Switching to next gen allowed them for a easier port compared to 360 and ps3. They don't have to worry about disc space like before. There both blu-ray

My first final fantasy was 6, I was 7 and my dad would play and let me jump on, I've been a huge FF fan up to 12, I really didn't enjoy 13 and felt no real attachment to the characters in it.

But I still have a soft spot for Square, *not so much Enix*.

Same goes for Tri-Ace, I really love the star ocean games.

And personally I would love to see them all get a PC release. Not because of "TA POWA" "master race" users put out. Just because its a chance for more people to get to play the game, more market for the companies which means better funding and ideas for later games.

oddly enough there have been 5 ff games on the pc so far ff7 ff8 ff11 ff14 ff14-RR so its not that surprising if it did come over but at this point who know how square thinks.

The port would cost a lot less compared to PS3 --> PC due to the similarities between next-gen consoles and pc. They could possibly put less men (less labor aka less money paid) on the job due to this common architecture.

FF isn't exactly unheard of on the PC platform but as of late, it hasn't really been seen on it aside from FFVII and FFVIII re-releases on steam.

Having it on PC too will push the boundaries a lot. In the end its good for everyone.

Ppl who were never going to buy a pc wont buy a pc anyways so no ones loses. No one is stealing gamers from the other and devs have a good share of customers to make games for.

Im boggled with the psyche of these kinds of gamers.

If it does come to the PC please make it easily mod-able. Just imagine what the modding community will be able to do with an already gorgeous game. I mean look at Skyrim fully modded. Now imagine FFXV an already gorgeous game modded on the PC.

Im mostly a playstation gamer (grew up on ff 7-9 on ps1) and i have no qualms about ff xv appearing on pc. It means more gamers will be able to enjoy the game as well. An xbone version on the other hand...lol...

I say no to pc port. majority of everyone with a pc, built strong enough to play the game, are probably guilty of downloading illegal copies of games..

ffxv pc would be pirated to no end, thus making the investment of the port a huge waste of time and money that could be invested in at the very least into making sure that the ps4/xb1 releases are bug free and deliver a true next gen experience. Since SqEnix has already sold out, its the very least they can do for gamers and ff fans alike.

Really? Nice assumption, not at all true but glad to see you talking out of your ass. Games have done very well on Pc for a long time, yes piracy is a problem a big one. But at the end of the day if it sells enough copies then the company can still make a lot of money.
