Saints Row IV ‘Meet the President’ Trailer Revealed

Today, Deep Silver and Volition released a simultaneously awesome and terrifying new trailer showcasing all-new in-game footage from the upcoming Saints Row IV. Currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms, Row IV is set to launch worldwide this summer.

I preferred SR1 and 2 to GTA and I think this is just OTT. The first two saints row games got the idea.

Try out the first two games, you'll just have to play them with an open mind and don't think about SR3 when you play the, also the controls scheme is much different from SR3.

I can't believe this series sold its self out. I use to love the series, SR/SR2 was in my top 5 of my favorite games of this generation and in my top 20 for favorite games ever. SR3 left a bad taste in mouth and SR4 looks more of the same, but worst.

I don't understand the hate for this game or SR3. This new style of SR is much better than SR1 or SR2. Those games had their place, but they were sort of bland.

I would much rather just have fun and do whatever I want in an open world enviroment. This looks really entertaining in that aspect. We have enough copy cat GTAs and serious story/cinematic experiences. At least there is one game that is all out ridiculous and, in the end, just a fun game. Over the top super powers? I'm all for it.

You know, I was a big fan of SR2...absolutely hated the direction they took with SR3 and yet I still check the trailers and such in hopes that a glimmer of what made me like SR2 is there somewhere.

And I am always disappointed.

This is probably the biggest disappointment in gaming that I have ever seen. Why pretty much switch genres on an already established series?

Huge fan of the first two games. SR2 is in my top 10 favorite games of all times because it was believable but not serious. Volition might just push deep sliver into bankruptcy with this one.
