SNK-PLAYMORE’S latest iOS release, Metal Slug X, continues the adventures of Marco, Eri, Tarma and Fio as they battle General Morden and his army of misfits. More of an upgrade than an actual sequel, Metal Slug X repairs the major slowdown issues that plagued Metal Slug 2.
Additionally, it introduces five new weapons to the series (i.e. Enemy Chaser, Iron Lizard, Drop Shot and Super Grenade) and some modifications to the the Super Vehicle-001 and Camel Slug.

for the switch i can remotely understand why this got released. on the other platforms i have to seriously ask how many times they want to re-sell this franchise to us? i think they are even topping the resident evil series in terms of "polishing an old turd and sell it again" mentality.
