Rookie running back Bernard Pierce helped the Baltimore Ravens get to New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII, rushing for 532 yards during the season. A knee injury limited him in the Big Game, where he ran for 33 yards on 12 carries. With his first NFL season capped with a Lombardi trophy, Pierce will have some time to relax.
EA Sports once again correctly predicted the Super Bowl champion with the Madden Simulator, given them 8 correct outcomes in the last 10 tries. The game maker even got the 3 point score differential correct between the Ravens and San Francisco 49ers (although they were off on the final score and on the power outage in the Superdome). EA Sports dropped their first gameplay trailer for College Football 25 today and the game looks truly amazing. Buried in the details of the game hype, however, is a significant letdown for those who play online dynasty (a significant portion of the userbase).
There are no thoughtful ads in Video Games, EA. Leave them be.
I think the only type of games that can gets away with it would be sport games, having those sponsors ads on the side like on real life.
But don't put freaking Doritos ads in Star Wars or something, it breaks the immersion. If it is a pop-up ads, then big no.

One of my favorite series is the THPS franchise, and it was packed with ads, but it didn't bother me. Posters for skateboard companies, JEEP, and Nokia phones. It did sort of fit in with the game world, but that was the past, these days ad would be intentionally intrusive or unskippable loading screen type of imagery. Ugh, I know EA would do it in a horrible fashion. Screw them.
