Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 Is Wonderful For Mobile Gaming

FanBolt writes: "Whenever I get a new device, especially a follow-up to one I loved so dearly, one of the first things I have to do is play all of the latest games. Plus, when it comes to some games such as Anomaly Korea, having the use of the S pen with the Galaxy Note 2 makes for an even better way to play."

Hell Yeah! Get yourself Mame4droid for arcade gems and classics. Add a super nes and Genesis emulator and it's the perfect mobile gaming device.

Android gaming isn't my cup of coffee. I've tried a lot of Android games, hoping I'd be pleasantly surprised. But so far I've been disappointed. I've spent way more time playing FF VII on my SGS2 than all the actual Android games I've played combined.

creeping judas4136d ago

How did you get that? I have been playing FF1 on my W8 phone, and FF3 on my Galaxy Tab 2. All I see in the store other than those two games is Final Fantasy Tactics(I think that's what it is called).

But that aside I have been truly enjoying FF3, even though it's extremely unforgiving at times.

Via emulator of course, Android has ePSXe and FPse but I don't know if there are any good ones on WP8.

Thanks I will look for that for my Tab 2.

another one bites the dust. When will these companies learn gaming isn't that easy to break into.

crazyCoconuts128d ago

but this one has such a catchy logo /s

DOMination-128d ago

Seems a bit harsh. It's just an accessory for their app on smart tvs and monitors. Maybe Samsung have bigger plans down the line but I don't think anyone is expecting this product to change the world, Samsung included.

darthv72128d ago

There is no dust to bite... this isnt like stadia. This is for playing games either from the mobile store or xcloud or geforce now through the smart tv. Like playing on your phone or tablet only a much much bigger screen.

Vits128d ago (Edited 128d ago )

Too expensive for what it is.

shinoff2183128d ago

40 hours sounds pretty damn incredible

Phoenix76127d ago

Maybe 40hrs when in stand by mode

2027: MS stops making Xbox consoles
2029: Samsung starts making Xbox consoles

j/k

NotoriousWhiz127d ago

You kid, but when Microsoft leaves, expect someone else to enter. Maybe Amazon. Maybe Netflix.

QuantumMechanic127d ago

Samsung is in bed with MS and shows latent interest in the gaming market. They are also a hardware manufacturer. It seems totally reasonable that Samsung is in a prime position to take over the Xbox hardware properties should MS bow out of the market.
