"This year has been unseasonably warm, at least in America. The temperature’s barely dipped past 50* where I live, and beyond a few snow storms, the north has had pretty warm weather itself. Here are five wintery levels that might cool you down and help you pretend global warming isn’t a thing."

Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.
Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
Oh, they included Mario 64's Cool Cool Mountain, good job!
Nobody deserved how good that game was http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I was hoping to see Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime. Loved specially its music. Classic.
There is something about frozen levels that I like so much. Can't put it exactly in words but it's like no platformer or adventure game would be complete without one. Been like that since the old NES games(except Hudson's Adventure Island, for example, which is set on a tropical island, even though I can't remember well, correct me if I'm wrong but maybe it even has a frozen level in one of its games) In any case it's something that we instinctively love to see for some reason.
That moment in that thatgamingcompany game.
I love the ice locations of Wrath of the Lich King. So damn good. Metroid Prime, MGS1, Uncharted 2 and many more have brilliant snow levels. Snow levels are actually my fave to play through because they are snow aesthetically pleasing. I hope one is included with Dark Souls 2.
Oh and Journey was amazeballs :-)
