IGN: GDC 2008: CID the Dummy Hands-on+Video

"An apparent 3D side-scroller, Cid the Dummy casts you as … well … Cid the dummy, a crash test subject that swears he's meant for more. Prof. Werken (think Mark Twain in horn-rimmed glasses) and his robotic-helicopter assistant run the joint, notice that Cid is always lamenting his lot in life, and put him in a special red and yellow suit. The suit makes Cid feel stronger and gives him some amplified specs, the professor asks the dummy to save his daughter, and the adventure begins".

Twelve and OG Resolve IP Rights Dispute

Italian developer Twelve Interactive has announced that it has reached "an amicable compromise" with UK distribution firm OG International over the rights to the CID The Dummy franchise.

Twelve Interactive had said in October that it was seeking legal advice over OG's claim that it held rights to CID The Dummy supposedly acquired from former license-holder Oxygen when the publisher went into administration.

AVault: CID the Dummy Review

AVault is a huge proponent of the Wii, but during the last few years they have not been shy about voicing their displeasure towards developers using it as their personal shovelware dumping ground in a bid to take advantage of unsuspecting casual gamers. Too many PS2 ports for their tastes. It's time to take a stand. If CID the Dummy succeeds at anything, it demonstrates that a recall is in order.
