Chris Buffa (Modojo): Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour represents all that is cool and frustrating about first-person smartphone and tablet video games. On one hand, it assaults the senses with a dazzling array of impressive set pieces, bolstered by some of the best-looking visuals we've seen. Conversely, the virtual controls and abysmal dialogue left us wanting more. Taken as a whole, it's a solid bundle worth the $6.99 asking price, especially if you intend to go online, but we can't help but feel disappointed at Gameloft's decision to enhance the graphics at the expense of innovative play.

Few no brainers in there. République is awesome. Bardbarian is great and Modern Combat 4 is a damn fine FPS.
