For fans of first person shooters, 2012 has been a busy year, with the release of Black Ops 2, Halo 4, and Borderlands 2. In the span of a few months, we have gone from dusty Pandora and its cast of crazy characters in Borderlands 2 to the lead-ridden cities of Black Ops 2 and, of course, back to the futuristic, alien worlds of Halo 4. I love all of these games, but I was surprised at just how much Call of Duty Black Ops 2 dominated the first week sales, and ultimately refuses to give up the crown as the King of FPS.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
Dont see the point of articles like this. I dont think either of these games done bad in terms of sales. Each game have their own fan base, alas BO2 has the biggest. I dont think dev's make games, esp Halo 4 and BL2 devs, to compete with BO2. I remember last year they did a similar article comparing BF3 vs MW3 which was a more legit article.
However, quality over quantity is a different matter.
is not about quantity but quality!
Being part of a herd of sheep and following a trend can make any game "king."
Quality > Quantity
One thing I've learned this gen is. The better shooters always sell less.
