This week on Mobile Monday we’re taking a look at Toss It from Boolba Labs, Café International from Application Systems Heidelberg Software, 2022: Space Invasion from Maysalward and Tiny Owls from games 2 be. Read the reviews of each game at GodisaGeek.com.
AR: Tiny Owls is a deceptively simple game from games2be that can be likened to rehearsing for a highwire routine. Buttressed by bright graphics and deceptively simple (in theory) gameplay, Tiny Owls easily left an impression with me after just a few goes.
SiStevens says: "I enjoy casual board games, whether this is a simple game of Monopoly or even Snakes & Ladders with the kids or games that require more of a thought process such as Risk or Ticket to Ride. They do have their downsides in my mind though. The clearing of the game afterwards and the fact that I tend to start getting bored around the 30-45 minute mark – Just ask Digital Pariah about a game of Risk we had during one particular long night shift for details of this. This is where I feel iOS board games really step up to the plate."
148apps: Players are invited to touch and tilt their way through challenging levels as a mama owl searching for her lost babies. It may be cute and cuddly, but this game can definitely give gamers a workout.
