Topware Interactive has confirmed the official release date for the PAL version of the recently revealed Iron Sky: Invasion videogame, currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Originally confirmed for a North American launch in November with a PAL release to follow, it appears as though gamers throughout Europe won’t have to wait as long as initially suspected.
GamesAsylum: "If you browse Xbox Live’s ‘Games on Demand’ service regularly you may have seen that Iron Sky: Invasion was recently added. This movie tie-in is one that we’ve never seen in the likes of GAME and CeX, despite it allegedly receiving a UK retail release. The 2012 movie on which it’s based is arguably just as little-known"
Iron Sky was a horribly great B-movie. The recent mobile game inspired by this movie, may be even better.
Iron Sky Invasion is a decidedly less ambitious attempt to revive the classic Wing Commander formula. The follow-up to last year’s 2D shoot ‘em up, it moves in a more streamlined, action-oriented direction, devoid of the trading, exploration, and open-world mischief of some of its competitors. Instead, this stays closer to the Descent: Freespace or Wing Commander traditions, where you’re dropped into a series of combat-based missions, with no ability to go off the reservation.
iron sky looks like one of those funny epic movies but its so strange. lol
it was pretty bad, SOME funny parts, like turning a black guy into an albino by using an "albinizer" formula. Little hokey stuff like that, but for the most part...pretty damn retarded. And now it has a video game? WOW
