Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition Review | The Controller Online

The Controller Online: "While From Software didn’t really take any time to patch up the small issues that Dark Souls had before, the PC release is still the same fantastic game. Fans of the series will love the new areas and the addition of the PVP arena modes is great for those that are into that side of the game. PC gamers are in luck with this one, as the $39.99 price tag includes the full original game, as well as a substantial amount of additional content. I would be embarrassed to tell you just exactly how many hours I’ve spent on Dark Souls, across both editions."

When does the dlc come out for consoles?

Swiggins4280d ago

Late October, I think the 25th, there's a ton of changes to the balance of the game though, so if I were you I'd look them up and make a new build to plan accordingly.

I haven't played dark souls since the pre-major changes via patches era but I think it'll be nice to get back into and have to roll a new build (like Rainbow-Dash mentions) and check out the dlc.

OK cool, thank u, I couldn't really find a straight answer online.

Yer and it was awful (the port not the game).

luckytrouble629d ago

Still use it as my go to on Steam, but I will never make the mistake of booting it up without mods ever again.

And it was garbage.
Luckily it was easily fixed by a modder who actually wanted a good product to be sold to people.
