Yeah, out of all the sites that sell games (gamestop, ebgames, toysrus, walmart, bestbuy etc) Amazon seems to deliver the best promotions and the best prices. I honestly don't remember last time I bought a game online somewhere else.

WeskerChildReborned4302d ago (Edited 4302d ago )

Amazon is a great site. Always now pre order from there.

Double_O_Revan4302d ago (Edited 4302d ago )

I've been ordering from them for 3 years now. It's the best service around, especially with the $.99 release day delivery shipping.

But Amazon has Seriously cut back on the game credits they hand out. Hardly any games are lucky enough to get a $10 credit anymore, let alone a $20 one. I can't remember the last game that got me a $20 credit. They used to hand them out with any even Semi-major game.

I agree. I discovered Amazon right around the time that they were really pushing the trade in deals and was able to rack up over $100 of credit for games that would have probably netted me about $40 at Gamestop. Plus, since I am an avid gamer I get to rack up those $10-$20 credits. About every 4th game is almost free. I DO hate that they tapered those $20 credits down to a few select releases. But, it's still the best for me.

A lot of times Newegg has pre-orders for $47.99. I got Uncharted 3 and MW3 for that price last year. Recently they had Darksiders 2 for that.

megax84302d ago

Thanks for the tip. I will take a look if there's something there right now

Double_O_Revan4302d ago

They just had AC3 at that price. dont know if its still active.

I hope they announce more $10 future credit offers soon.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai24d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing6924d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle24d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal24d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa24d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal24d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

watching the video is better then going through 31 pages of gamingbolt.

LG_Fox_Brazil170d ago

Do they explain in the video why there are two numbers 3? Starfield and Tears of the Kingdom?

xeniate165d ago

It's always refreshing to see games embracing the streaming community.
