The key is its 20k and up to 30-40k couple of those weeks and its January, not exactly the busy season, just sit back and wait. Even if the gap closes slowly (which I think its going to grow in PS3's favor very quickly) its still closing not growing. PS3 is picking up steam, this is its second year and I personally think its going to close the gap fast. I admit the X360 is a good machine with some pretty good titles coming out this year but Sony didn't own the market with PSOne and PS2 by chance. Anyway, to each his/her own and good luck X360.

Had any Relation to epic it would probably be fairly easy to get this kinda of info.

Also yes that is how many maps in many game's start off. Way it goes in terms of Development.

Gameplay Formula/Artistic Direct (eg. will it be in a Power plant or a field)

Geometry would be place on the map and played through to see if Gamepla formula worked.

If all goes well it goes off to the artists and coders to be made into a level.

Then Testing until absolutely perfect.

it would be good if they actually wrote a story this time. I could have written part one in 2 hours drunk with just another person to bounce ideas off.

4 new weapons sounds good. I hope one of those is a decent Grenade Launcher. I loved how when the boomers had the gun, it was an RPG and then you pick it up and it turns into a turd slingshot. Goldeneye had a better GL.

The weapons suck...I'm sorry. In the real world you would get shot in the face whilst trying to "rev up" your chainsaw bayonett. But they solved that by implementing a peashooter for a chaingun.

you know anybody should not be suprised if gow2 comes out next year or this year.

But here's two things to keep in mind.

1. GOW2 would seem like the third killer app of the xbox360 since theer's only ninja gaiden 2 and halo wars. Maybe alan wake too.
Even with gow2 the xbox360's lineup still lacks what the ps3's lineup has.

2. GOW2? how about god of war 3 and resistance 2.

mas effect 2 and bioshock 2? How about FF13 and ff13 versus.

halo wars? LBP Besides rts suck on consoles.

As I have stated many times, the PS3 will have the best lineup in 2008 even if MS has 3 more exclusives up their sleeeves.

Not to mention Sony has a few up their sleeves aswell.

Wait, you yell at nitram because he's assuming that most of the line up for ps3 will get pushed back to 2009, yet saying that a system will have the best line up when its lineup hasn't even been released is speculation in itself. Anyone can make a game look great. I thought Kane and Lynch was gonna be great. Makers of Hitman, how could they go wrong. EDIT: yes, i know it sounds crazy. I'm still sticking to it though. GOW's fanbase really isn't that big. RFOM's online is PHENOMENAL! People will follow it...especially with the promises the second game has. GOW is a phenomenal game. It sold VERY WELL. Proportionally, RFOM outsold it 3:1...based on the install base of the systems. With the PS3 having such a large install base right now...and the gamers having such a diverse love of games...I'm sticking to this. The only flaw is that...the 360 doesn't HAVE any other games this year. So, maybe every single 360 owner WILL buy it.

are putting wayyyyy too much faith in the unreal engine, seeing as how every other developers hates it and one is even suing Epic I don't see this software sticking around that long. Gears 2 will looks marginally better than the first but that's about it. Many of us already see the graphical ceiling the 360 is hitting and it aint pretty. Hell the gfx card is having trouble with a game like mass effect and you think with gears 2 they're gonna push out twice as much???

But I think you are full of it when you suggest the graphical ceiling for the 360 has been hit. Perhaps the graphical ceiling for Rev 3.0 of the unreal engine has been hit but that is not saying much - the unreal engine 3.0 has a number of problems. Note, however, that the rumor (for what it is worth) says version 3.5. To the extent such a version exists you would expect it to be better than the 3.0 version(improved lighting, better texture stream, etc.).

But arguments about what an unannounced game is going to look like seems pretty speculative to me. Once we know something beyond rank rumor we can talk.

I know 1 thing. Almost everyone I know loves this game, even some PS3 fans I happen to know.

This game will be the HALO 2 this Gen for the 360 in terms of Sales. The game came out and lived up to the Hype. No it wasn't perfect but it gave us all a glimpse of what Next-Gen is suppose to look like, and the co-op was fun. This will sell Consoles again for MS.

I pre-ordering this baby the second I know you can, cause I waited 2 FN weeks, to get the first one, since it was sold out. I didn't think it was going to be that good.

Now if they work on the story a little more, add more weapons, more locust beast, and 4-Player co-op, I'm good to go..I don't know about you guys..

This game might give Halo 3 a run for it's money for one of the top grossing games this Gen.

Gears of War 2 WILL SELL more than Killzone 2. Whether KZ2 is a better game or not GoW2 will sell more. Why? Because its hyped up a lot (Kinda like Halo 3 but not as much). Also, KZ2 is kinda like an unknown game to casual PS3 owners. But even non-gamers have heard of Gears of War.

I believe that Resistance 2 will also sell more than KZ2. Insomaniac were clever to release R1 as a launch title. More PS3 owners in this world know the name Resistance than Killzone 2.

If Sony wants to sell a lot of KZ2, they have to spend more money on advertising (like MS did with Halo 3).

Well I can't wait for Gears of War 2 tbh, I loved the first one and the second one will be excellent. I hope they up the online player max to 12 so 6 vs 6 or even 7 vs 7. Add in more game modes and keep the ones from the orginal. Give us more storyline and make it longer, make the graphics even better which they will do and some other stuff.
