PORT OF LOS ANGELES – The video game world has become part of history aboard the USS Iowa. The 1943 battleship, which is opening as a museum in the Port of Los Angeles, will be home to Wargaming.net’s World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Battleships games. In addition, the game publisher and developer is working with the Pacific Battleship Center to create a virtual reality experience that will utilize the game’s visuals to replicate an authentic experience aboard the still-active U.S. Navy battleship. That bridge experience would replicate WWII warplanes attacking the ship.
