The Amazing Spider-Man E3 Demos Gameplay

Meh, looks EXACTLY like the other open world/free roam Spiderman games to me. Its looks near identical to Spiderman 3 the game.

looks like they focused too much on the zipping and swinging. I mean, hopefully the actual gameplay (melee, etc etc) is still fun

As far as open world and web swinging is concerned, this is the Spider-man game I've been waiting for. I just hope that the story is good.

I would like to see more civilians on the streets. That is my only complaint.

I like the camera when you're swinging, but the controls looked sketchy. Guy was screwing up almost every button push, colliding into things, sticking by accident, etc. hopefully he just sucked because that could kill the game.

That was my concern too. There seems to be too much QTE's for my taste. I hope combat is more than this. Still, really excited and pretty sure I'll get this on day one!

Why aren't the webs attaching to buildings?

There are several types of Web mechanics in the game. Beenox experimented to see what would provide the most fluid player control, so they came up with a hybrid type system. The web does hit the buildings and such but there will be instances like Spider-Man:WoS where the web will be floaty. You still can't Swing higher then the Empire State for example.

People are judging from poor quality videos and cause they don't see the web hit the building it must be floaty. I say wait until we see some actual Direct-Feed gameplay to reserve judgment plus none of us have handled the game so we really don't know how beneficial or what this type of web scheme is.

I'm really bummed about this. One of the cool things about the past open world Spider-Man games is that all of your web slinging had to latch on to a tangible object. It annoyed me so much in this video to see Spider-Man's web lines just being suspended by air.

Okay, you guys don't need to work on swinging and climbing in Spiderman. I think most Spiderman games have that down pact. What you need to work on is the clumsy fighting mechanics ,boring boss battles and the fact that you have ordinary street thugs somehow beating up Spiderman.That is what you need to fix.

Every time we get a Spiderman game all they do is work on the webbing slinging, climbing and swinging and leave the rest of the game with pointless missions, crappy boss battles and fight moves not even worthy of Spiderman.Do all that and make the fights like Batman:AA with criminals with weapons that actually make them a match for Spiderman instead of somehow bare knuckling him.

As if any normal person could hit Spiderman on the chin without probably breaking his hand.Spiderman is not Batman. You can't just take a gun and expect to just shoot him or punch him a lot with bare fist and he will go down just like that.
