i know ill get alot of disagrees but i think they need to work on that ending epilogue and make a proper closure for gow3 and leave kratos be, but id love to see more kratos on psp as prequels

I agree.. i think the ending was too abrupt. it seemed something needed to happen.. so i waited and waited ..
they really need to release the epilogue DLC (which they said will be free).

The game was going on a 10/10 enjoyment per second till the end..
then it dropped to 9.9/10 enjoyment per second for a sec... when the ending came along

The ending in a weird way parallels Halo 3's, which is kinda fitting, since Master Chief and Kratos are sort of the mascots for their respective systems. Plus they're both Spartans! :)

We all know even after they say they are done after 3 games they makes a bunch of spin offs that kill the series later (IE Halo etc).

On the other hand I like the way Kratos went out in GOW3. After all of his selfish acts he took all the power he could get and ultimately used the blade of the gods to kill himself and give it back to the world. I dont believe he is alive. Despite the credits implying so, I think he threw himself off the same cliff that he planned to throw himself in the first game off of to end his nightmares. I wouldnt want to see anytrhing further saying he lived. Maybe some stuff in the past if there are any holes.

i've never seen so many posts just outright blabbering the ending of GoW3 with no warning as to the spoilerific nature of the game.

if i hadn't beaten GoW3 3 times already, i'd be like, "WTF??"

anyway, i'm satisfied with Kratos' story in the God of War trilogy, and would love to see SSM take the franchise to another world and mythology(ie, mythic Japan), and put their spin on it.

more Kratos is nice, but i just feel it's complete. that he had a complete arc. there are ALWAYS things you could still explore with a character, but the best thing to do is to know when to just let it go.

look at the Rocky franchise for an example. Rocky I was great. it told a complete story, kind of like God of War I told a complete story.

then we got Rocky II, which was a further exploration of the character, and it too, was satisfying, and told a story worth telling.

but then we got into Rocky 3, 4, and 5, and well, he should have just left it alone at 2 (although, to be honest, i LOVED Rocky 4, because i was, like, 8 at the time. alright, i secretly still love the movie. it's 80's cheese and anti-Russian propaganda at it's best).

God of War 4 starring Kratos, would, i'm sure be a good game, but what other aspect of Kratos' personality would be worth exploring in another game or Trilogy?

i'd rather see them tackle a new character. but that's just me.
