You know the first thing that comes to my mind when looking at these shooters these days, is the amount happening on screen.
Resistance at times had dozens and dozens of enemies on screen that was amazing.
To me these games that have more polish but less substance don't really move me.

Based upon all of info, art and screens that I've seen from Haze, it finally looks to be a true unique and different shooter and a deep one. The charts and new screens are also cool IMO.

I was wondering if you can use the different armor types like heavy trooper?

RFOM is one of the most technically advanced games that I've played as far as things on screen. The more you play it the more in awe you are at what Insomniac has created. To me, this is the future and not how well something is rendered. The future looks good for gaming.

Not to be a fanboy or cause a flamewar,But dont you guys miss rumble in the controller...For example, when your shooting a gun, dont you ever want to feel the controller shake or vibrate?I remember when I was playing Call of Duty 2,My 360 controller battery came low and the controller wouldnt vibrate anymore and it felt dull.

Tabasco6145d ago

I see your point and at first missed it, but show much happens in the games i have been playing like Resistance, motorstorm, and call of duty 3 that I forgot about it after like a week. but then I bought a 360, and played my old mercs. game for my ps2 and i was like "wow, what was that". So in comparison yes but if i only played my ps3 then i was fine cuz i knew nothing else. Hope this lecture answers your question.

Saying I miss Rumble for one an understatement and 2 doesn't make me a fanboy.
I have been asking back for rumble since day one.
I personally think they should bring rumble back with Lair, I'll start a petition lol.

Don't get me wrong haze looks great. but I will wait till i see more before i can say more.

Top 10 Bad Games by Good Studios

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."

Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .

Game-ur1395d ago

once Great studios getting destroyed is actually common. happened with ND and Last of Us2, Bioware and Mass Effect Andromeda/Anthem, Bungle and Destiny .

BeRich2331395d ago

Fuse should have been on that list (Insomniac Games)

Splatterhouse remake kicked ass

merryja1395d ago

I personally don't like these games.

I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.

Then you might like a recent sonic "sonic mania".

jaymacx1395d ago

For this Topic it says Good Studios that make bad games. Sonic Team hasn't been good in years.
