I'm totally excited but I expected it.
Sony always focuses on marketing few games at the same time, and the release of MAG, Heavy Rain and GOW3 is leaving 3 spots for 3 new game announces.
They will just announce/tease the stuff that won't be available before XMAS/early 2010, but I expect at least 2 new titles before E3, where will have a deeper look at one of those games and at least another tease plus a barrage of ARC stuff.

And with the new 70MB o RAM release, begin to expect every multi plat title to be better on PS3 just from this summer onward.

Jaffe's game(TMPS3?), Insomniac with R3 AND the NC studios game(possible WRPG with Zelda leanings or whatever the rumours were!), Lightbox/Dylan Jobe's Warhawk follow up complete with SP campaign(could be the oft mooted "Starhawk" or THAT name could be for another game altogether judging by which story you put most faith in), any one from four(IIRC)supposed jrpg ,mash ups with other devs from Sony(Namco, Tecmo and a couple of others was it?)working together, SCE London/Cambridge/L'pool output, whatever Incog are up to post Warhawk and Jobe's departure(whatever happened to Hardware2?)or even some old IPs renewed from SCE Japan's past glories, no?

Seriously, trying to guess at what something as vague as ths COULD be is nigh on imnpossible and could even be news on the MMOs(The Agency, DC Universe, FR PS3 or even FF14)or God knows what given the number of projects we know of, suspect and have no clue about even though we know the studios MUST be working on something it's a tough call!

Interesting to see if this is another "megaton" let down frm GTTV and our wikkle Jeffwee or if it can ruffle feathers(hint, hint)like the GOW3 reveal of final build rightfully did. I have seen footage of Alan Wake, it looks very good but it isn't breaking ground in anyway. It is the least of what PS3 owners expect from a first party game but to compare it to the games that Sony is now producing is naive to be honest.

We hear alot from Microsoft about how good this and that looks, yet we are still waiting for something to come along to back up thier claims and judging by what we have all seen from Alan Wake, that is certainly not the title that Sony is going to worry about.

It does make me laugh though that the most popular screenshot of Alan Wake that's used by Xbox fanboys has a 2D engine bay on a car that looks mediocre at best. Granted it is a very old screenshot but that picture is laughable because the original Xbox and PS2 had better images of cars, the rest of the picture was great but the finer detail of that particular part of the image must have had many a person laugh their ass off.

Splinter Cell, Mod Nation and Zelda are tops as well. I bought all three consoles for of 3 reasons:

1. Exclusives- I don't wanna miss out on anything, I don't care what system carries it. If it's dope, I'm in.

2. Superior multi-platform ports ( Bayonetta comes to mind ) I always want to get the better running version. Again, no system preference.

3. I love games, the more the merrier.

And it seems as though 2010 is going to keep me fairly merry. Oh yeah, and 3D Dot Game Heroes! I will have a 3D Dot Samus 1st thing.

Wow Sony is just amazing. I have always been a Playstation gamer since PS1 i bought a BrickBox b4 the ps3 release because pre-orders ran out but i redeemed myself by trading in the 3shitty for my ps3. There still has been no evidence other then opinons about the grafic quality of FF 13 on PS3 or 360 so we will have to wait till that launches... and don't get me wrong i hope it is better on the PS3 because thats what i am getting it for... that being said it just sucks because 95% of these multiplats are better looking on the 360 and i want that to change.. It's great that sony exclusives are looking better then anything offered on the 360 but A) people need to buy them and B) sony needs to advertise them if they are really to matter in any impactful way. More systems in home's mean that dev's MAY put more effort into their PS3 development.. We end up with uncompressed video for FF13 but screen tearing in AC2 and the messes that where ghostbusters and bayonetta.

Unfortunatly my PS3 doesn't work anymore and Playstation Tech support is amazing abysmal at answering calls.

Anyone know what i have to do with a 8001050f error code. I was playing Heavy Rain this morning, turned it off after I was done and turned it back on this evening to have an 8001050f error and something todo with trophies when I loaded heavy Rain.

Tech Support websites says sync your trophies, but you can't do that if you can't connect to PSN because of the error. Disk out and I get the same error.

Anyone kbnow what they will tell me to do.

Id like to see games that help make PS2 successful. All this new IP is nice but lets not forget about some of the awesome games we played last gen..even if they were mediocre they could still be re made or "rebooted" the same way killzone was.

i think that the game industry has benn twisted and all the games we ever talk about are God oof War, Halo, Gears, and Uncharted. I think that without some of the previous games this past gen we wouldnt be where we are today.

What? Did you guys think that Killzone2 , Uncharted 2 , Ratchet & Clank, Gran Tourismo & God Of War 3 were the best that the ps3 could do? Are you guys sniffing glue? If you own a ps3 you have to get used to being amazed every couple of months. Sony’s first party games keep improving by leaps and bounds.

Remember, the longer a system is out, the better the games will look.

Just look at the 360. After all these years of “ok” graphics, now the graphical beasts are starting to come out.
