Crytek Chief Executive Officer Cevat Yerli has just officially revealed that the company "is now working on a non Crysis related title for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3".

Recently purchased a 1GB 8800GT and I have been running Cyrsis... not a max but at a fairly decent rate. 1280X1024 res. High settings, 2xAA and i'm gettin 30+ FPS. I must say. This game is freaking insane. and i'm not even anywhere near maxing it out. I'm not a PC gamer. I just play from time to time. I want it to stay on PC. Can't wait for Warhead to come out. IF you haven't played Crysis.. your missin out on one of the best shooters on the planet. END OF STORY!

I have no doubt that this game from Crytek will be superior on the PlayStation 3 and will have all the physx, animations etc, as seen from the PS3 version of Far Cry 2 footage.

without the capital letters "CONFIRMED", then it's not news eh? I think we knew this already for how long now? I lost track but they were offering a job for console programmer not long after Crysis, right? so, I think it was pretty clear back then that they're indeed going to the consoles! I don't think they'll hire a console programmer to do the house keeping, right? plus the pc piracy talking, it was just like they really wanted to make an excuse for this transision although the piracy thing was kinda LAME!

Crytek is getting all of this play for what. Crysis wasn't a very good game and it didn't sell very well. I am missing something here or what. What about Crytek that makes them the darlings of the internet. Please enlighten me.

Crysis WASN'T a very good game. Sure, it had insane freakin graphics, but gameplay-wise it was just another shooter. Someone tell me why we're all praising our respective deities after Crytek announced that they, being the world's greatest developers that they view themselves as, would be gracing our unworthy consoles with their blessed gaming magic?
