“I thoroughly enjoy retro-style games and with that, Magic Orbz modernises the classic brick breaking formula and it has held up beautifully.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.
Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.
Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.
i think the most impressive part is that one week out of the blue the wii is up 27%
the rest was rather predictable IMO
sorry but this must be wrong, cause konami Told that allone in EU they sold about 1 Mio. units + US about 650000 + Jap about 580000 = 2,23Mio
units and not 1,8 mio.
MGS4 bundle sold out everywhere and if you don't believe that reason why the PS3 numbers are down then your just wrong. When Sony resupplies the bundles in early July the numbers will be up once again.
Why are people approving hardware/software sales number from VGChartz? They've said it themselves that it's only an estimate and ANYBODY can make an estimate so why approve it? Let's just wait for official numbers from NPD or the manufacturers themselves.
I understand what you mean, but the numbers that VGChartz gives out are only estimates. Even you can estimate the amount of hardware/software sale per week. VGChartz numbers are never right and most of the times they are way off from the official numbers.
