XBF Writes: "...GTA IV now overloads the cache and causes a lock-up (freeze). So now, instead of saving load times and providing a seamless experience, Rockstar has forced some machines to crash while attempting to load from the cache.
The solution: Rockstar needs to release a patch that limits the strain on the RAM right out of the gate. Can they even do this? Who knows? ..."
The problem, originally reported to only effect the 60gb PS3, now is showing up on Xbox 360s as well.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
As we have all been graced by the release of Grand Theft Auto 6's trailer, we're ranking the best and worst GTA trailers to date.

Grand Theft Auto 4 is an important game for Rockstar, not least because it was the first title in the franchise to use the newly created RAGE engine.

Maybe everyone on BOTH sides will learn from the lessons that overhyping teaches.
Both PS3 and Xbox 360 have so many different architectures out on the market right now, developers can't make a perfect game that pushes the hardware's limits without causing an error on one of the SKUs.
Some fanboy reported that it doesn't happen on Xbox 360s?

The site this article came from has people reporting the error. It's not just on one console brand. This shouldn't be a fanboy issue. It sucks for anyone, but it is happening on both consoles.
The sooner Rockstar released a patch for both systems the better. I think more beta testing was required but I guessing this should be able to be fixed easily and soon.
