While no title debuted as strongly as Super Smash Brothers Brawl did last week, software sales remain high this week. Hardware sales, except for the DS, are up significantly as well this week. Nintendo's two platforms, Wii and DS outsold all other platforms combined this week. Wii in particular saw enormous sales; over 225,000 units were sold, nearly double from last week. DS sales were down from the previous week, a trend that is likely to continue until more compelling software or a new price cut arrive. Behind DS, the four remaining platforms sold between 75,000 and 95,000 units. Xbox 360 hit 92,000 on the strength of the new Tom Clancy Game, while PS3, PS2, and PSP all sold about 80,000 units. PS2 and PS3 sold almost identically for the week, at ~82,200 and ~82,900 respectively.

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."
Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.
Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.
Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.
That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.
Ar Tonelico 3 is good I still prefer the first AT game. The music is solid in all the games and Akiko Shikata is a very talented singer bringing life to the game. Only annoying part is well I find is Saki I always choose Finnel or Tyria. KOEI so needs to HD remaster the franchise along with Ar Nosurge and Ciel Nosurge since it never came to North America. I would day one the Ar Toneliceo games and Ar Nosurge if they were remastered.
I still have the limited edition of Qoga unopened. Unfortunately it never went up in value like I had hoped all these years.
Used to own all these quirky JRPG on ps3 good times. Wish I would have kept them all
This could be fun as they make great tables. Go big or go extinct. Prime your senses for a neural handshake and step into the cockpit of a Jaeger. It is on you to cancel the apocalypse when Pacific Rim Pinball comes to Pinball FX on May 16.
I know they are just sales estimate. But it appears that Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 didn't do so bad with 362,827. At least on Xbox 360.
Vgchartz is a joke, and it refuses to change it's numbers even after the NPD's come out...
ne ways all consoles are doing quite well....PS band selling well i see...
Vg post are boring now. Where is everyone. Lets start a flame war shall we.
and even during the slow months. Well guess that means the industry remains healthy.
