Need to play this again with the 60FPS update. Haven’t gone back to it since I beat it at launch. Definitely underrated, just sucks that people bounced off of it because the first several hours are a little bit of a slog. It’s worth it though.
I’m sure the 42 people still playing are super stoked for this. Better take the day off so you can grind for 4 hours just to use the character. Let me guess, he’s got his own Elseworld and there’s fucking icicles everywhere. /s
Ok, so it’s humanly impossible for me to give less of a fuck about Call of Duty, but you guys who love it, are you excited for this? Seems like they keep dragging the same sub-IP to death from an outsiders view. Or are you guys like, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Cuz I feel like CoD is kind of like a sport at this point, you don’t win football, you play football.
Sweet! Glad to see it make the jump. Hopefully the PSN requirement doesn’t put too many people off. I think it’s only if you plan to play the Legends mode. It’s bullshit, but at least you can access the main game without making a PSN profile if that bothers you. I know on PC everyone’s sick of everyone trying to push their own launchers and shit.
Ehhhhh. There’s some juice left to be sure. But I don’t think there will be a big leap this gen. The Order still looks better than 50% of PS5 games. And I’m sure Hellblade 2 will look better than a lot of launch PS6 titles, especially if they’re 3rd party. Simply because Order/HB2 are incredibly linear, contained experiences. I’d imagine big games looking like Hellblade 2 might be like halfway through PS6. Can’t imagine there will be sufficient overhead until then. Barring some kind of tech j...

I’m sure it will be great but I’m concerned about timeframe. Everything he’s said over the last couple months makes me thing the game may only be i pre production or early production at best. So I’m feeling like next Naughty Dog game may be a PS6 launch title. I’m hoping that Corey Barlog’s non-GoW project is in the nearer future. Cuz Sony is looking a bit lean, maybe we’ll hear something at the next showcase.
I don’t care what a character’s sexuality is if the story and game are good. It’s just that, does anyone honestly think this is genuine, Ubisoft and the other big companies routinely abuse and mistreat their employees but we’re supposed to believe they give a genuine fuck about diversity. I’m 100% in favor of diversity but this is classic virtue signaling.
How the hell do you spend 7 years on a 7 hour game and have a lame half baked ending? Did they need another year to have a proper ending? 1 year per hour?

If viewed only as art and not a game, maybe a 9. As a game, it’s like a 4. So I’d say average that out would be like a 7. But then it’s only 6-8 hours long for $50, for me takes that to a 6. Worth playing through one time somewhere in the future when it’s on sale for $20.
