So yes I think this was basically revealed yesterday. So apparently (and mind you HD lore is really quite dark) they have Illuminate blood stored from the first war that will be used as a super weapon to destroy an entire planet. The bug blood, BTW, is also used by Super Earth to power FTL travel.
Can't wait to experience the last stand of the super bug colony. And then face the Illuminate.
You could say the same about the PS4 when the first Pro launched. It really took another 4 years to get the PS4 'fully optimized' and even then its wasn't capable of resolutions the Pro offered. You shouldn't expect to see the PS5 (which is much more powerful than a PS4) fully optimized until the end of the cycle. You purchase the PRO for things that you know the regular one can't do. In this case it will be higher resolutions and better raytracing. This is a good ...
It could mean folklore, proverb, or even fairytale like Jack and the magic beanstalk. It could even just be lore about historical figures like you even see in American culture like Jonny Appleseed (a real person whose life story was mythologized).
Right. I assume games like Gears 5 will make this look tame by comparison plus it will be built with GamePlay in mind.
You mist be late to the party.
Christopher submits most VideoGamer articles... because N4G is owned by VideoGamer...
Nevermind alt...
It's more of a UE5 tech/art demo.
Even if every game was multiplat it would still effectively be exclusive in Japan. Still Stellar Blade topping DD2 on PS5 is a heck of an achievement for a new IP.
I am highly encouraged by their statement about human creativity. "Dont f#@k with the artist" is exactly what they are saying. But at the same time, I don't think people understand that Sony is a corporation. If they don't realize growth, they don't get to exist. When you say 'Sony', you are talking about a bunch of investors. To speak about them any other way is a illogical and incorrect. They haven't changed. They have been a group of investors since ...
AI in and of itself is not a 'bad'. Money is bad. Money is evil, and corporations will do whatever they can to get more of it. They will find ways to implement AI to replace as may jobs as possible. This isn't even up for debate. It is the charge of the corporation to maximize returns for the investors. They have no choice. I'm a developer and I know that my job will absolutely be replaced. Therefore, I have decided to become an AI dev. AI has a lot of potential to h...
@Cacabunga
That's usually handled by PlayStation, not Sony. Allegedly we are less than a week away.
Also, is it just me or isn't that a handheld concept rather than a controller concept?
From the inside looking out... how would you be able to tell that you have been brainwashed. It happened to me years ago, but I was lucky enough to have outlets outside of the echo chamber that allowed me to re-center myself.
I never understood this concept. On PC, we don't have one set of games for one power level and then another set for higher power levels. We have games that scale across power. The highest end PCs are way higher than consoles but they play the same games as low end PCs. Also from a dev perspective, sure you want to make the best looking game ever, but development cost money and you have mouths to feed. It only seems responsible financially to make your game as widely available as pos...
Yup... I don't think it was something that needed to be predicted because it was very obvious from sales data.
Starfield had an all-time peak player count of 330,597. It was also on GamePass PC. Hellblade basically bombed commercially.
@XiNatsu
Totally agree.
@Crimson
You are seriously implying that people are just now starting to play online multiplayer shooters? You are saying that COD (a GasS) hasn't consistently be the top selling game for like 2 decades? People have been supporting GaaS for quite some time now. I've been playing COD since 2009. I can tell you don't personally like them but they exist, they are popular and didn't just get here...
You can get XDefiant right now... for free. I tried it out yesterday and its pretty good.
The only numbers we have are Hellblade 2's Steam player count which has an all time peak of just under 4k.... which is not good by any metric. Its pretty bad. But I'm also not sure what Microsoft could have done to get it to sell more. This is more of an 'art' game.
Sure for Helldivers. Surprised Sony doesn't put Helldivers 1 on mobile.... but in reality, I think Arrowhead is talking about creating original IPs that they own. What I question is how they will do this (while remaining multiplatform) without expanding. For HD2, Sony contributed a lot. If they do this by themselves, they are going to hire more people (which isn't a bad thing as long as its sustainable). I love that they are trying to 'stay small' but even when looking a...
You might beat the game before you fall asleep though...
Oh I am going to OD on the PSVR2 titles.
