The controller layout could be PS3 and the graphics honestly weren't showing much improvement. More importantly, this was such an old and unfinished build, the developers are surely optimizing it with time.
Yes, you are correct. Seems like it has reached a point where new major software isn't increasing the sales by much. It is not like inFamous was expected to sell PS4 in Japan, I still hoped for a slight boost in sales though.
Now this definitely explains the game missing the 2014 list on official PS Blog. No idea why they still kept it as 2014 title on the official site. I don't mind it personally though. I can wait.

There is still the Ultra settings on PC. Tomb Raider ran close to Ultra settings on PS4 with unlocked frame rate but I guess we can chalk this one up as a cross-gen game limitation.

Plenty of sources of leaks like retail stores, journalists, insiders with connections, and devs themselves, so it is hard to control them.
The best way is to let the developers be more open to their fans and not hide info.

For PS4? There aren't many titles with a announced release date so far. The PS3 has far much more including Persona 5, Tales of Zesteria and plenty more JRPGs.
Not on Vita this time around.
