Bit of a stretch

I'm confused how it's locked 30 on Series X tbh. Admittedly my laptop is a touch more powerful than a Series X but I'm getting 90-100 fps with low settings. Which is still absolutely stunning btw, even at low settings its the best looking game I've played (i play on high though, which I'm getting 60 with DLSS quality mode). I guess it's a CPU thing but surely it was possible

Doesn't seem like it takes anywhere near as much as they suggested to hit 60 fps at 1080 on PC given the 1440 performance. I'll give it a test tomorrow at 1080 see what frames i get. Find it odd the series X can't do it looking at this video unless it's heavily CPU based

That requirement for 1080/60 surprises me tbh watching this video. A 3080 is comfortably more powerful than a 4060ti and this video shows 70+ with a 4060ti at 1440. At 1080 a 3080 would be 100+. My card is very close to a 4060ti so I'll give it a test myself at 1080 when I've finished the first game.

I have a mobile 4070. Nice to see I'll get good performance then. Probably 1080p maxed

Memoria project on YouTube. That is literally what you need to do for FF9. It's beautiful

What sort of performance are you getting? I'm just finishing up the first one before I start it

People argued said it wasn't with Starfield, making excuses for why it wasn't possible to have 60 fps but as expected they made one. It's always possible with some limitations

Please please give me a 60 fps mode or at the very least 40 fps

Do they though? Push Square gave Spiderman 2 and FF7 Rebirth an 8/10. Wouldn't they have been a 10/10? Especially since they're actually critically acclaimed games.

This one. The only one people are bothered about when it comes to Game of the Year

On the proper GOTY awards Ragnarok actually won more awards. It wasn't exactly miles off.

Eurogamer that gave both Horizons a 6/10 😂

81 likely to drop into the late 70s like I imagined. Still going to play it though

Surprisingly this is one I didn't pick up yet. Same with Dragons Dogma. I may hold off because they would be great on the Pro

Imagine thinking something which ran the outstanding Elden Ring toe to toe should have been better. Your articles should have been better.

I was with you tbh until you said glorified tablet. That tablet produces stunning games for it's price. Forbidden West Burning Shores is still the best looking game I've ever played. Native 4K doesn't suddenly make a game worlds above anything. It's a massive waste of resources. I play in 1440 on my monitor and it looks just as good as my TV with the screen size.

True everyone's different but it certainly is to me. There's only a small difference visually to me at 144. Every single day if the week I'd be pushing the settings to max to play at 60 locked rather than drop fidelity for over 60 fps.

Bought BG3 again on my Laptop because I loved it that much, honestly it's barely different. Obviously higher frame rates. But a CRPG is certainly not something you need over 60 on. CP2077 I'd agree because the full RT and PT on that is awesome. And AW2 on console is stunning anyway. Like I said it's mostly about frame rates not how the game actually looks

Now I've gotten into PC gaming I've noticed it is. The difference between ultra and console settings is something you'd only really notice much side by side. Certainly not when in full flow playing. (Apart from proper RT games) The only proper advantage is the frame rate, which when you go above 60 its very negligible anyway.
