There is no subscription requirement there - just an account.
Part of the problem is how few countries PSN officially supports, and that if you sign for a different region Sony has the right to ban your account. There are also some issues about Sony's history of very poor data security.
They've bought Control from 505 and split ways from them entirely right now and are looking for other publishers or partners.

On Witcher 3 they've already moved it from Overwhelmingly Positive to Very Positive for recent reviews. The Witcher, and Witcher 2 have recent reviews moved to Mostly Positive from Very Positive, so they are already having some impact, if not huge.
They are concerned the NYT will put it under their puzzle subscription - so these people are preserving it separately there

It is really stupid to make the name difference only an apostrophe. It also means when talking about Chocobo GP's birds unclear - I could be talking about the mobile game or not. Or you end up with Chocobo GP''s skill choices.
Chocobo GP Dash would have been a perfectly fine name and not be really annoying name from a legibility and grammatical perspectives. Localization made an odd choice here.

EVGA still has run into a couple but they have an RMA process that includes "New World issue" now and people expect it.
Gigabyte hasn't done any thing and so the issue is revealing more of their issues. Assuming the Gigabyte issue is the same as the EVGA one - it was based on construction quality and things like that. The game presses hard and if the manufacturing has an issue it seems to be coming out.

That might have caused issues for them on the back end, or cost for getting either of them back - or either of the two leads there of note (Whitehead aka Taxman or Thomley aka Stealth) might have wanted to do something new after a long time doing Sonic games and Sega might have decided not to bring them back due to part of the partnership not being there (there's also a third company involve...

I'm more of a Fall From Heaven person myself (Author) though I can appreciate some of Civ VI's things I do like firing up Civ 4 sometimes too.
So - there are 177 regions impacted, but many of those regions aren't countries. For example, Puerto Rico, Greenland, and the Falklands Islands are all on the long list there. It's why we've been very careful in how we referred to it there.
