On a basic level I don't agree with listening to insanity because it encourages it. There shouldn't be a point where you're like "well, on one hand this person threatened to kill the developers family, but on the other hand transmog would be pretty sweet."

Beyond that, what constitutes a good idea? A lot of these games don't implement bad practices because they didn't have INMATEofARKHAM to inform them that grinding for 10 million hours isn...

I really think this is an interesting case of controlling the narrative. I read the comments here and it seems like Spitz is this unsung hero that fought big Sony by rallying people to review bomb Helldivers 2, was successful, and paid with his job.

Yet you can search for reddit posts from him and his initial response to the issue was to just make an account and shut up. When he learned about the counties without he apologized, but he still retained that mentality just wit...

I have everything I want, but I am still overjoyed to see Tunic make the list. It's such a charming love letter to games of the past, and something anyone who enjoyed gaming in the '90s should absolutely check out. I mean, it even allows you to create an in-game manual that is reminiscent of those you'd read on the ride home.

Super happy to see this was eventually resolved for PlayStation Plus Essential owners as well!

I think it's because the main question for many was whether or not the PlayStation Plus Collection version would support the upgrade. To me it seems obvious the PlayStation Plus Extra version would, though it is nice to see confirmation it will.

That said, Bethesda highlighting the PlayStation Plus Extra version low-key confirms they do not plan on upgrading the other version given to players. Naturally some people are pissed, as even the in-game phrasing says "fre...

Onslaught is certainly a lot of fun. Plus it's nice having a wide array of extremely useful weapons to grind for.

While I get being done with a genre, the thing about roguelikes/roguelites is the concept simply increases replayability at very little cost.

For example, take Pepper Grinder. Charming game, like 25 levels, has collectibles, etc. Once you get all the collectibles, and beat it, the only content left is beating stages faster/more proficiently. Procedurally generated games don't have that negative, as they're always somewhat different. I can do five runs of Enter the ...

While I wouldn't say it's so long (it will release about nine months after release), they do it to basically cause a second boom in sales.

If they just implemented online like three months after release it might get a small resurgence in interest, whereas new modes, characters, and so forth encourages more people to hopefully populate the online.

Honestly, everything about its release was poorly timed/thought out.

The week before it released there was Relink, Persona 3, and Suicide Squad (it dominated the news/conversations). Then you get its actual release and Square Enix thought to kill any hype by holding VII's State of Play, and demo. You figure it released on the same day as VII's State of Play and Demo, which obviously overshadowed it. Then you had Helldivers 2 like you mentioned, followed by people ta...

Not that it matters, but this one actually allows for swapping between 8 games.

It's absolutely a series worth giving a full go of.

Shame to see it happen, but the funny weapon glitch has been a lot of fun.

Confirmation bias is an interesting thing.

Like I can confirm both versions received a score of 8.5, so it isn't like their impression is more or less favorable. A lot of people also forget a lot of games, even those people view negatively, still received decent scores from people. For instance 9/35 of the PC reviews on Metacritic were above 8. And 16/48 on PC were above 8 as well.

It's honestly hurt more from the extremely low scores than anythi...

"Also it takes a bit of playing to start getting new maps and dinosaurs to play against."

I think this is the aspect that will ultimately kill the game. I don't think it takes particularly long to unlock new maps, events, and dinosaurs. Instead, it seems to be determined based off who you match with, which is why we updated our original review to include this detail.

I mention this will kill it because I literally beat the campaign (15+ hour...

Ports like these are exactly what we should want though.

Gex and Tomba are both from PlayStation 1 which can make copies expensive along with a system to play them. With Gex copies are about $20, so the trilogy is around $70; and Tomba is in the $75 range. Even if they all came to PlayStation 3 like I know Tomba did, those games are not accessible without a PlayStation 3 and even that requires the store to still be available.

Like it would be one thing if...

This is like complaining about Funko Pop figures. Even if you think that there are literally thousands of designs and she got one by being one of the most popular characters from the franchise.

While I also don't get it, I think the idea is using this as a way to gauge interest.

https://twitchtracker.com/g...

You can see the top games here and there is a strong correlation with popularity and views. It's kind of crazy something like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is currently pulling down more views than a PVP game like Crash.

@ Extermin8or3_

I used missing because the previous person used missing. But it's all semantics.

It's probably best to let trolls be. Perhaps the best example of Sony's differences is Sackboy's Adventure having free costumes, but they're going to see whatever they want to see.
