@Profchaos what? gamepass has almost all of the EA games (thnx to EA play) plus ubi titles (assassins creeds origins, odyssey, valhalla, farcry 5, 6, rainbow six, watchdogs etc.... not sure why you think PS gets EA and ubisoft games while xbox gets mainly indies.

Ms has no choice, they are in a distant 3rd place and because of gamepass get just a fraction of actual game sales. With Gamepass subs leveling out, they need to find ways to get more revenue without backpeddling on their slogan "day 1 on gamepass". Sony being the market leader and selling millions of copies of its games is not nearly as desperate to do the same.
If MLB is all you care to have a playstation for sure, sell it. I use my PS for spiderman, God of war, the last of us, helldivers, final fantasy 7, horizon, and upcoming games like wolverine, last ronin etc. Hit me up when those are on gamepass and I'll sell mine too

It's not about them launching another xbox. It's about the fact it'll have zero exclusives. Why would I buy that when I can play all of their games plus exclusive titles on PS

He probably means at least they're offering something. A lot of companies don't offer anything when their game launches like shit. Look at MS and redfall. Some people spent $100 on the deluxe edition and 1 year later they still don't have any of the extras. So yes, good on them for throwing something down.

They don't have to "beat" those games. If they make an awesome fighter people will buy and play it. It might not have the legs that some of the others have but it could certainly still make them a profit

I believe MS stated several years ago that basically they are going to launch all of their games on PC and Xbox. So you are safe to assume if it is announced for xbox, it is also coming to PC.
