They definitely shouldn't have made Marathon an extraction shooter if that's what it is. There's way too many already. Extraction/horde modes used to just be a bonus or dlc, now there are entire games that are just that.
Of course their opinions are pointless since they're criticizing PS.
Why did PS copy gamepass if it's so terrible and unprofitable? PS Now was before gamepass but it was streaming trash that no one had any interest in.
And honestly the way the industry releases overpriced and broken games with day one season passes and dlc who wouldn't want to just pay for a subscription instead of $70 per game?

This really shows the pro PS bias of this site too. Since when did PS fans criticize walking around and exposition? That's every single Sony exclusive.
Also when the first hellblade was an exclusive people loved it and now the sequel has tons of average reviews...

How is this different from the PS exclusives where gameplay=walking around plus exposition though? Alan wake 2 was also mostly a walking sim with the awful case board "gameplay" and barely any combat.
Recent narrative/cinematic games have too many sequences that are just slowly walking around without any actual gameplay or combat.

Does anyone else feel like Helldivers 2 is a little overhyped? Its just a wave mode which is usually an extra mode with other games, not the entire game. Its well done but not enough variety or customization.
No, 4 and 5 are bad. I'm a huge fan and Gears 4 is complete trash. The story, the tone, and the new characters were all abysmal. Plus the uninspired robots. Only the wave mode and the weather stuff and destruction were good. 5 had a better campaign but was still medicore overall. Coalition kind of sucks. Same with 343. They need new project leads at both studios.
Or maybe let People Can Fly make another one since theirs was better than 4 or 5.
That sold terribly, no way it sold more than helldivers 2. Stop making excuses because you like FF7.
