veterans from helldivers 1 knew what they were getting into. For part 2 there was a heavy influx of "follow the streamer", then they stopped playing.

Wow, because I can't for the life of me think of another recent PVE multiplayer game that became massively popular and has hundreds of thousands of regular players. No, you're right.
