Alien: Rogue Incursion Game Trailer

At last some news. Happy Alien Day! Today, renowned VR game developer Survios, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, announced Alien: Rogue Incursion, a new single-player, action-horror VR game set in the iconic Alien Universe.

I think we can all at least be happy that Isolation was good and never possibly ruined by a sequel. The ending also wasn't a cliffhanger so we weren't left with nothing either.

Alien Isolation is my favorite horror game ever ! Maybe because is seen Alien in the theater in 1979 ? I would also love a sequel.

I would even be happy if they add some DLC to Aliens: Dark Decent. A completely underrated game which got dragged down in early reviews due to a terrible buggy launch.

You know what stupid about dev studios and publishers? All anyone has been begging and demanding for is another Alien Isolation game, but instead they make every other type of game like a horde mode only game, an RTS, and now VR… like none of these are selling great, I doubt this one will… so what you’re going to say, “I guess nobody cares about the Alien IP because they ain’t buying anything we make.”

Like just make what we’re asking for… I just see a new Alien game announcement and again it’s not what we’ve been asking for.

Rights were with Sega and when they said nope and Creative Assembly moved on; si did sequel options as I understand it.

Possibly but they also have to say that despite rave reviews; the game only sold 2 million copies and as such was not a financial success to the level they hoped.

I loved aliens fireteam elite to be honest. I wish it had a campaign story mode but fighting hordes of aliens was fun.

You should get into VR horror…. Alien Isolation would’ve been an ideal VR port.

Horror is scariest in VR, by far.

An Alien game in VR sounds super scary and I can't wait. I hope it's more on the action side but I'll take a alien isolation type of VR game.

There were rumors of a Dead Space Style Alien game shortly after the VR rumors arose so I wonder if they are one in the same. I asked about interviews and they said they are not prepared to talk about the game yet. I figure it is for a reveal later this summer.

Well, it's made by Survios, they did some good games in the past
