IGN : This year’s Ubisoft Forward didn’t have much in the way of surprises, but it did have a ton of gameplay of two games that we’ll actually get to play in just a few months, Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Outlaws in particular looks like a game we’ve been waiting our whole lives for, an open-world sandbox that lets us explore the grimiest corners of the most wretched hives of scum and villainy. It’s a premise we almost got in Star Wars 1313 and Amy Hennig and Visceral’s Project Ragtag, but both those got canceled. Unlike some past Ubisoft gameplay demonstrations, what we’ve seen of Outlaws seems like it’ll actually be representative of the game that’s coming out in August, so here’s hoping it delivers.
TNS: Star Wars: Outlaws promises an open-world adventure in a galaxy far, far away, but can it really escape the Ubisoft curse?
Too bad I'm not buying it, I'm not supporting a game that I have to be connected to the internet just to install. They can f#@k right off with that.

It’s not a problem for many. This is like a vocal minority. Think of all the people who play Fortnite, which requires an online connectivity to play, let alone install or those who play Helldivers 2.
The only thing Outlaws requires an internet connection for is to install or download DLC. I’m glad I don’t have the odd hang up on this that would prevent me from playing a game… I mean, guess what I’m using and connected to to write this. I’ll give you a hint: Internet

Because i want to OWN my games, and im not paying $70 for a game that won't work once the servers are gone. Giving examples of MP games is insanely stupid, yeah of course a MP game needs internet, a SP game doesn't, and shouldn't require any sort of Internet connection to work, especially if im buying a disc. You guys can go ahead and keep encouraging a future where half the games don't work anymore in a few years, i refuse to be part of the problem.
Why. That's what a lot of games do now a day's. Keep that's sillynees up and you will never play another game very soon.
What's silly is paying full price and not owning it. And correction, a lot of AAA games do that, mid tier and lower budget/indie games are not plagued with this issue. It's been a complete non-issue for me to pass on these games all together.
I believe in the preservation of the craft, and preservation of ownership. And i refuse to contribute to the issue.
This is a star wars game, you'll be fighting the good fight in vein. Guaranteed 20mil sold sad to say.

If i was her i would sue she is pretty with alot of titles the fact there saying she is ugly should be grounds on some sort of defamation lawsuit along with the other's ubi is currently facing.
I just don't trust Ubisoft. At best I'll wait til it's 80 % off. Should be about three months.
You're not wrong. I remember I bought the digital double pack of Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla when the Series X came out. The games were brand new. I got a discounted price of something like $120 CAD. Literally one month later that same double pack was on sale for $60. Like wtf, the games had been out for just one month.
