"Looking forward so 4 games no promise beyond that, so if you're on those other platforms and you see these four games coming please don't take it as some signal that everything is coming, it's not."
Phill Spencer (June 9th 2024)
'Our commitment to our Xbox customers is you're going to get the opportunity to buy or subscribe to the game, we're going to support the game on other screens. And you are going to see more of our games on more platforms and we just see that as benefit that the franchises we're building and we see that from players and the players love to be able to play'
There’s this small part of me which wants to think that the reason for Sony being so calm lately, especially after Microsoft’s showcase, is because they know this themselves, and they could know more than what’s being said publicly.
It seems the idea is to have other platforms(PS and PC) offset the cost of game pass.
Xbox users get the games on game pass while others pay full price.
Gamepass seems to be Xbox's idea of "exclusive".
These guys are so inconsistent with their messaging. It's difficult to know exactly what they want to do with their games. I've stopped caring. I just focus on the games.

this is so odd. we had ps before the summer fest and now xbox after.
The rumor is 30 games with a nearly 2 hour show. I hope so I, been saying they need to go balls to the wall with their showcase. That's according to Grubb again. Yeah a huge pinch of salt he's only been wrong or half right about some stuff.
There's also suppose to be a Wu Tang Clan game that's a kungfu action RPG featuring the legendary hip hop group New Yorks own Wu Tang Clan. You read right Wu Tang Clan kungfu action RPG.
Sounds weird, random and quirky but hey I'm down to see it.
I hope it's a good showing knowing most games that will be shown will be multiplats & XB timed exclusives that'll eventually become multi-plats.
As per Verge:
" Sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans tell me the first two titles will be Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment, followed by Sea of Thieves and Grounded. "

well we know the two of the games Hi fi rush and sea of thieves are wonder what the other two are?
im good with them branching out on some of their older titles they feel could benefit from expanded player base. It's like Phil said initially... case by case basis.
Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, Sea of Thieves, and Pentiment seem like a good first batch.
Four games but will not name them? We believe you Phil.... Two seconds later states that exclusives are a dying thing. Read between the lines...everything is going multiplatform from them going forward. Play on every and any screen.
A few games to start then it’ll be more and more and more
It’s like a domino effect
Indiana Jones and Starfield will come eventually, then Elder Scrolla VI. It’s just he doesn’t want to say because too much at once will send people into a meltdown.
