Wow what a throwback there!
The Rover GD is so much better than the Liberator equipped one that it isn't even funny. The regular GD is pretty much useless compared to the Rover. Its crazy to think that Super Earth is going to make useless weapons and then take the useful ones and make them weaker. That flies in the face of the narrative of the game itself.
Its promising tech and what's even more funny is that it was DF that was saying it wouldn't work. If fact they were pretty emphatic about it. What's stupid about their claims is that consoles are just specialized PCs. Now imagine if they combine this with a different upscaler like TSR or the upcoming PSSR.
Welp at least they corrected the record but honestly why wouldn't they just use his words instead of paraphrasing for PR reasons? Glad to see Neil stand up for himself and get the truth out.
Not really sure that makes sense. Allowing it to be used on PC should increase interest in the headset itself, correct?
Also love how they wait till the last minute to announce the show.
What a dark topic lol.
This is probably the main title for the show. Being as though this show is for PS Studio titles coming out this year. And we know of two. This and possibly Astrobot. I really appreciate them taking this approach where they wait to show something before its about to launch. I am just sick of waiting years for a game to come out after it is shown.
I know it sounds weird but I finally expect to see Half Life now that they have certified the PC adapter for PSVR2.
What if they didn't increase the price? Yes, they would be taking the hit, but if GamePass is going to work, it needs to have a lot more subscribers. Perhaps this is the play. The lost sales can be made up for by releasing COD on Switch or whatever Nintendo's next console is. This mixed with whatever they get out of new subs should be enough to turn a nice profit. It will definitely hurt at first but in the long run I think there is a good financial result for COD at least.
Oh I am going to OD on the PSVR2 titles.
So yes I think this was basically revealed yesterday. So apparently (and mind you HD lore is really quite dark) they have Illuminate blood stored from the first war that will be used as a super weapon to destroy an entire planet. The bug blood, BTW, is also used by Super Earth to power FTL travel.
Can't wait to experience the last stand of the super bug colony. And then face the Illuminate.
You could say the same about the PS4 when the first Pro launched. It really took another 4 years to get the PS4 'fully optimized' and even then its wasn't capable of resolutions the Pro offered. You shouldn't expect to see the PS5 (which is much more powerful than a PS4) fully optimized until the end of the cycle. You purchase the PRO for things that you know the regular one can't do. In this case it will be higher resolutions and better raytracing. This is a good ...
It could mean folklore, proverb, or even fairytale like Jack and the magic beanstalk. It could even just be lore about historical figures like you even see in American culture like Jonny Appleseed (a real person whose life story was mythologized).
Right. I assume games like Gears 5 will make this look tame by comparison plus it will be built with GamePlay in mind.
You mist be late to the party.
Christopher submits most VideoGamer articles... because N4G is owned by VideoGamer...
Nevermind alt...
It's more of a UE5 tech/art demo.
Even if every game was multiplat it would still effectively be exclusive in Japan. Still Stellar Blade topping DD2 on PS5 is a heck of an achievement for a new IP.
Yes it would increase the framerate but it would add more noticeable latency. The impact of latency goes down the more natural frames produced. So a monitor that can push bast 60 will naturally allow the game to operate much smoother. Add VRR to this and now you have a much more enjoyable experience.
