Shouldn't you expect a game to work and be playable when you buy it? That there should be a football to kick?

Interesting theory, but really it's to protect against broken games, not little bugs. People don't want to take their games back, they want to play them.

Ooh, didn't know it worked like that. But that makes sense. I guess the minimum is there for the credit/debit card charges Sony have to pay for. Still, most companies absorb them.

Hm, but don't you need to put a set amount into your wallet, where the transaction is then taken from? So if something is £2, I have put £5 into my wallet, where £2 is then taken, leaving £3 left in my wallet...

Plus you can get discounts on PSN cards anyway.

Well, the article gives an actual example to compare so he has a point.

Plus, you can't pay the exact amount on PSN. You have to put money into your wallet at £5 intervals... diff in the US?

But then as this guy says - you still have left over money in your PlayStation Store wallet as there's a £5 minimum.

What exactly will he do with those hits without any ads on the site?

It's not a 'big deal' now. It's always been a big deal and Sony, by changing tack from their kind PS3, have made it a big deal again.

Did you read the article?

4517d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Well, that's said in the article itself: "Whilst they might provide a useful revenue stream for manufacturers, they’re a pain for consumers."

The question is why rip off your customers for the sake of bigger profits?

The question is answered in the article itself - just because the title is a question, doesn't mean the author doesn't answer it.

Idiots.

"But what about Sony’s lauded ’10 year plan’? This is a notoriously misunderstood concept. By this, Sony doesn’t mean it will wait 10 years before releasing its next PlayStation. Instead, Sony will support its consoles for 10 years before leaving them to die. The PS2 launched in 2000 and kept selling well past 2010, even though the PS3 began running alongside from 2006.

The PS3 is now holding the baton, and if we take the same six year gap and ap...

Too early? They're just starting dev now. How long did it take to create Uncharted 1? Three years. What about GT5? Even longer. The Last Guardian? 6 years.

How exactly is starting dev now too early?

Fourth! All fats?

Now that would be mean and sly of Sony!

4667d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

And you get a free controller with the PS3. And it's already £189 on some sites, and you'll prob be able to get a one or two game bundle

4667d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

This is ridiculous now really. The price compared to Nintendo and Xbox 360 is shocking. better idea to buy a new one it seems

You could ask for them to give you the difference... might work
