Give 'em an inch and they will take a mile.

Players need to torch their games if they attempt this, even worse than PC players did for the account login for Helldivers 2. A lot worse.

More like how the sales of Battlefront 2 and Shadow Of War were severely hurt over their loot boxes. Make people not want to touch these games through bad word of mouth.

They want money and they would do anything to get it, the only way to stop it is to close the door of money in their faces

Past: EA Sports, it's in the game

Present: EA Sports, it's in the loot boxes

Future: EA Sports, it's in the ads

This is just one out of many reasons why more and more gamers are now turning to retro games (even the 2000 kids are now picking-up retro games, and I can't blame them for doing so).

Their sports titles are played by mostly casuals and so ads won’t make a difference to the gamers. What I don’t get is for a industry to generate so much money there are still astonishing levels of greed

Shane Kim31d ago

Yeah, it will start there, but what is stopping them to put it in other games later on?
