Today my younger bro (14 year old) collected enough money to buy PS3, so i went with him to buy one, just to make sure everything goes smooth. In first store we visited, PS3s were sold out, all bundles, version,etc. So we went to second store and they only had left MGS4 bundle and bundle with Uncharted and Ratchet, which was actually for some reason little cheaper. I was telling him to pick bundle with two games, since i thought he would get more playing hours and more value but he wanted MGS4 one, he later said MGO was the main reason , so what ever....i still think other bundle was the way to go, but he also doesn't find Uncharted appealing for some reason, and he played many times MGS2 and MGS3 so he like that series. Any way we also got 3 year full guarantee, which costed 640skr(swedish krona), in USD that is around 105$, a lot but i think it is smart thing to do, after all you give so much money. In total price was 5600skr, which is little over 900$, yes total madness if you look it that way, but USD is weak so no real surprise there.<br>Anyway i think it is interesting how he choose MGS4 over two games, which i guess in the end makes MGS4 a true system seller, or at least this is good example of that case.<br>Congrats bro and may your expensive, really! expensive PS3 serve you well....what a beast that system is!
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication was incredibly scary, and would be considered a cinematic horror because of how well everything is done visually. There are many faults with it, but at least it's very scary.

If only the game wasn't so barebones. Out of the super fun core gameplay, the game is a barren land. They better make much easier "major orders", because the player base has mostly moved on.

Uncharted?! Why is everyone crazy about this game? Why do I feel like the only sane person, standing on Crazy Island. Sure the graphics are lush but it's nothing the 360 can't do. And the combat is ATROCIOUS! Some of the worst aiming mechanics I've ever played. Here's to adventure games without much adventure.

I really do think MGS4 was a system seller and surprising more so than GTA IV for either the PS3 or 360. Something about the game being exclusive and the MGS history just seems to really make it an appealing purchase. The bundle sold out in every store where I live on launch day. The Halo 3 bundle did not even sell out.
I hope he enjoys his purchase.
