VG247: Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City developer Rocksteady is enthusiastic about its next project.

life doomer4440d ago

man... these guys are so passionate about their work. It's rare to see something like this in today's world.

Knightofelemia4440d ago

I thought the last rumor here was Rocksteady was supposivly working on a new TMNT game thats played almost like Batman. If it does happen I'll buy it lol

AP4440d ago

I'd like to see the TMNT game, but these guys could also do a new IP major justice.

Megaton4440d ago

I've got a pretty bold idea for you. How about your next game doesn't randomly delete saves on PC?

Raf1k14440d ago

I didn't have that problem on PC. I'd hate for that to happen to me though.

Megaton4440d ago (Edited 4440d ago )

Supposedly they're working on a patch for it, but they've been saying that since December. Hell, they claimed they already patched it on 360 last November, but users kept reporting problems there, too.

On PC I believe it's a conflict with Steamworks and GFWL. Warner Bros is one of the last publishers out there who insists on ruining their games with GFWL.

FlashXIII4440d ago

I hope their next IP is a new one. I'd love to see them take what they done with the two Batman games and be able to expand on it without the constraints of an existing IP.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a massive departure from the Batman: Arkham games

Four-player co-op. An open-world Metropolis. One impossible mission.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is upfront in its desire to embrace chaos. Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark have been assigned an impossible mission: Save the Earth, or die trying. To complete that assignment, they'll need to kill the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe. The reward? Maybe The Agency will remove those Nanite bombs from their heads once the dust has settled. Maybe. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady's first game since it shipped Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, and it's set to be quite unlike anything gamers have seen from this studio before.

I loved the Harley Quinn animated series but I do not find this premise appealing. I was really hoping they would make the first good superman game. This is I don't even know how to feel about it. I think the only real thing I can say is...

"King Shark is a Shark."

Nodoze1345d ago

and that is NOT a good thing. Rocksteady's Arkham series were masterfully done. This looks like a sunset overdrive type online garbage title. Very sad to see this as I was expecting MUCH more from this studio.

Batman: The Court of Owls Explained

IGN says, "The next Batman game revealed this weekend at FanDome might feature the Court of Owls, and we've got an explainer of who they are for you."

blackblades1364d ago (Edited 1364d ago )

They'll like a organization that runs gothem behind the scene from what I know from watching the Batman vs robin animated movie without reading an article from "IGN".

Phoenix761364d ago

Yeah pretty much. The court of owls Is an underground organisation run by Gotham's Elite class of people that had been around for about 200 years and even Batman, the world's greatest detective, didn't even realize that they were operating under his nose.

TallDarknWavy1363d ago

It's basically DC's version of The illuminati. It's a bit silly.

BrettAwesome1361d ago

What Batman game? What game had been announced where you play as Batman?
