Just about all of the biggest games of the season have already come out. Mario Kart 7 (3DS) and Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC) are the only exceptions. WWE ’12 is this week’s biggest debut with combined sales of 615,000.
Software milestones this week: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) passes one million sold; Kinect Adventures (X360) reaches the 12 million mark; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) shoots past eight million; Just Dance 3 (Wii) passes the two million mark; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) flies by the six million mark; Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (PS3) passed one million sold; and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (X360) passes the one million mark.
Hardware sales are not only up across the board week on week but have more than doubled. Year on year sales are up overall, but are down for Wii, DS and PSP. Hardware milestones this week: The Xbox 360 passes the 59 million mark, 3DS passes the eight million mark and the PlayStation 3 passes the 56 million mark."

Controversy in the COD community feels like it happens within an alternate timeline. Activision will take the piss with something, there will be a momentary fuss about it, and then they will forget about it and carry on anyway. Repeat this cycle literally every year for the rest of time.
I'm so tired of hearing about what they're doing with this game, its never going to change and it's never going to value the consumer over money, furthermore the people who engage so heavily in the microtransactions I guess allegedly are having a blast and can't wait to do it some more this year when the new version of the game drops.
