Destructoid's Jim Sterling writes, "Although polished to modern standards, Kirby's Return to Dream Land carries the spirit of the 16-bit era in its heart, bringing one back to a time when games could be bright and happy without feeling the need to serve two scoops of cynicism at the same time. This is the kind of game you could once find in abundance on the SNES and Sega Genesis, now refined to a distilled and ultimately superior form. Videogames simply do not get any more pure than Kirby's Return to Dream Land."
GameCrate: "What Wii games should get a remake on Switch? Well, here are five suggestions!"
I know it's not a Wii title but it can be played on the Wii I want the Metroid Prime games on the Switch I have never played them.
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While the games obviously are selling well for Nintendo to keep making them, I am starting to get a bit sick of the formula that has been offered in the mainline Kirby games since 2011."
Like a lot of other franchises this year Kirby has an anniversary coming up. I'll be shocked if there wasn't some sort or new Kirby game this year. I also vaguely remember a dev stating they had big plans for the IP in the near future.
I'd like to see a 3D platformer Kirby, like Super Mario 3D World.
Michael, Ray, Ryan, and Gavin make a trip to Dreamland where candy, cake, and rainbows are literally everywhere.
never owned a kirby game only rented them and liked them but its this good im buying
HURHUR!!!! AWESOME!!!
Well damn, 10/10? I dont even know if I believe that....I mean, I figured this would be a great game, but worthy of a 10? I doubt it...
Hmm... I was pretty excited for this game but 10/10 seems like they're just trolling. I've been a fan of the Kirby series since the original GB game but from the mixed reviews and the focus on multiplayer... it looks like a fun game but no masterpiece. I'll have to try it for myself and be the judge but I'll chalk it up to "typical destructoid review".
I was not expecting a score like this.
Though Kirby Allstars for the Snes was boss, so this might be epic also.
