Hideo Kojima Talks Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Peace Walker HD, PS Vita

Lorenzo Grajales writes: These days, Hideo Kojima is a busy man. The Metal Gear mastermind recently revealed that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is heading to the PS3 this November. The HD Collection includes revamped versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, complete with dual-analog-stick controls, 1080p graphics, smoother frame rates, a redesigned user interface, rumble support and much more.

..Halo are overhyped & overrated by 12-13 year old kids. Cutscenes are awesome though but other than cutscenes everything else is mediocre gameplay, dumbass story & lame characters.

Surely the "awesome cutscenes" should basically at all times feature these "lame characters" which are related to the "dumbass story". Quite the contradiction there matey. It's too bad I almost agree with this troll. Surely it's just not good to me, but MGS games make me facepalm when it comes to controls.

Other than the technicals, MGS has one of the most brilliant stories in gaming. These HD remakes are a great reason to go back and appreciate them again.

You do realize that they would still look like crap? You could smooth the textures so they aren't pixelated and put massive AA to remove jaggies, but it still would like worse than a PS2 game.

this collection will be a blast .. BUt i'm more happy with ZOE HD collection . i love both ..but i hope Kojima productions will have the time in teh near future to do a ZOE3 .

The ZOE collection for the PS Vita is a MUST BUY for myself and probably loads of others.

Knowing Kojima he will be meticulous about using the PS Vita tech in cool ways for ZOE.

Nice to hear that 2 and 3 will come to the Vita as well. I love the transfarring feature many games should use a feature like that.
