Link freaks me out a lil. And they should have put in a new dungeon. :S

lociefer4865d ago (Edited 4865d ago )

in all honesty i cant tell which is which, edited: lool typo , thnx fat

Fat Bastard4865d ago

which is which. witches are evil silly head

ExplosionSauce4865d ago (Edited 4865d ago )

It's actually not that hard.
The one on the left hand side says ©1998 and has N64 buttons :P

SMOK3xFFx4865d ago (Edited 4865d ago )

I knew right after the first picture which was which. I've scene that opening so many times, I know there is no piece of grass in that spot.

Danteh4864d ago (Edited 4864d ago )

the best game of all time is the only one capable of getting to the front page while being a Nintendo game

Zelda OoT ftw, I've played this game like 12 times and I'm buying a 3DS just for this, lol :P

FrankMcSpank4864d ago

@Flywestbrook

I agree on the new dungeon. Almost all zelda remakes have something extra, like Link's Awakening DX which got the COLOR Dungeon. Maybe they could of had a 3D dungeon, that would be awesome.

FinalSpartan4865d ago

wow huge improvement looks awesome but again have already played it and experienced this legend. Whoever didn't should pick this one up.

StbI9904865d ago

True but gotta love what will be the score for this one.

badz1494864d ago

what else do you guys expected? unlike PS3's HD collections, this is not remastered, it's a remake! huge difference

badz1494864d ago

why the disagrees? it's the truth! and I'm not even bad mouthing the game :(

ProjectVulcan4864d ago (Edited 4864d ago )

Loved this game on N64. Still runs a fair bit in Project64 on my PC too with a bunch of visual mods.

Maybe i am the only one here but i thought it would look considerably better than it does versus the original TBH....N64 hardware is nigh on 15 years old, it had a 62mhz GPU with 4 megabytes of RAM. Every half decent smartphone on the market is immensely more capable technically than N64.

Dont get me wrong it does look better and the visuals aren't all important but not quite as much as i would have thought after seeing the Metal Gear and Resident Evil games running on 3DS hardware.

I'm just thankful the bumped up the teaxture quality.

DigitalAnalog4864d ago

Just that the 3DS may have an edge on the AA aspect, other than that, you're going to have a bitch of a time at the water temple.

IN 3D.

-End of Line

ChickeyCantor4864d ago

Water temple is being redesigned for some parts.

[water temple is not hard at all...it art not]

the_best_player4864d ago

honesty they both look abit dated

AWBrawler4865d ago

seems like this game will wow me all over again

Hozi894865d ago

I think I'll pass on this one. I love OOT, but I already have it...so unless it has extra side quests or dungeons to explore. I'll pass.

Looks much better than N64 version though.

CobraKai4865d ago

Honestly like the ps2 hd remastering i've been buying, I would buy a 3ds for all those classic N64 games. Especially Star Fox and this game. What's old is new I guess:)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the anti-Breath of the Wild

Polygon: "To get back to the way Ocarina made us feel, it was necessary to reject almost everything about it."

LG_Fox_Brazil148d ago

Ocarina of Time changed my life forever, such a masterpiece

Zeldafan64148d ago

Hard to believe it's 25 years old already.

Cacabunga148d ago

The feeling this game gave me the first time i had my hands on it is indescribable.. i still get the chill from that day..
botw is like a spin off of the series.. it’s fun but with many flaws and the most important which is Zelda formula isn’t there..

FinalFantasyFanatic147d ago

I can't even remember how many times I played through OoT, I finished that game, and collected everything so many times.

Vits148d ago

I generally agree with the author here. However, if I had to point out a single game as the 'anti-Breath of the Wild,' that would be Majora's Mask. Pretty much everything in that game is interconnected, relies on something that the player must have done previously, is timed, and can be considered a puzzle in itself.

gold_drake147d ago

but still considered the best of the seties.

i would have liked botw to be more like ocarina.

franwex147d ago (Edited 147d ago )

25 years from today whatever Zelda is out people would too be looking fondly at Breath of the Wild.

Ah the more simple times of the 2020s.

It isn't...

Zelda: Ocarina of Time - A Legend 25 Years in the Making

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time debuted 25 years ago, forever changing the face of video games and becoming a legend of its own.

Number1TailzFan180d ago

I used a guide to beat part of it but some of the rest myself, still enjoyed it regardless. Too bad they didn't stick with this kind of gameplay for the rest of the series as I would prefer it over what they're doing now.

TheBrainZ180d ago

A definitive moment in video game history. Played it countless times, and Zelda was the best reason to own an N64.

FinalFantasyFanatic180d ago

I played through OoT so many times on the 64, then I bought it on the 3DS before the Eshop shut down. I wish we could have a Zelda collection like we did for Mario, I still can't believe that never happened.
