What insecurity? The only reason he is receiving a ton of disagrees is because of his blatant attempt at stealth trolling. It's not insecurity; it's using your eyes and common sense to discern the motive behind the actual post. Take one look at Conan's post history and you will see that he is prone to commentary like that.

The disagree button is SUPPOSED to be used for those who disagree with a post. Conan was, as I stated, stealth trolling PS3 users by insinuating that the PS3 version would run unfavorably in a comparison. Whether that is true or not, would it be far-fetched to assume that the disagree button is, in this case, being used properly via those who understand the nature of his post?

Or are you just taking offense to the use of disagrees because you follow the same train of thought that Conan does, but are too ashamed to admit it?

I'm not even sure why I'm disputing these actions; TDU is a pretty mediocre franchise in my opinion.

You miss the point. The disagrees are people who are already presuming that a certain version will be inferior, and they don't like the fact that even THEY think their prefered version will be the worst.

Why is it that if a gamer on this site prefers 360 over PS3, and it is obvious in his posts, simply because he is not afraid to voice the very real and frequent short comings of PS3, he has to be a troll.

But the countless PS3 fans on this site who constantly bash rip and curse the 360, even in articles that have nothing to do with PS3, are NOT trolls? How does that work?

Reality, he is NOT a troll, stealth or otherwise, he simply does not worship Sony and thus does not have a problem pointing out that its a good chance the PS3 version will play like crap compared to the 360 version yet again.

The lighting on the 360 version looks better. I can also make out more detail (on for example buildings and speedometer) in the 360 version. Probably a higher native resolution?

you ever notice how 360 version is usually "less washed out"? to get a better picture on ps3 i just set my tv's settings to a contrast of about 55 and brightness to around 35-40. shadows are a lot darker and overall everything looks a whole lot better.

More important than the graphics is how the car handles! I loved the idea of the first game but the floaty handling meant I traded it pretty quickly.

The Xbox 360 version does appear to have slightly better lighting in the pictures. But I can't tell for sure -- on the PS3 picture the driver is moving faster, so maybe it's just the blurry effects kicked in.

I think the lighting may be better in the 360 version but overall just based off the screenshots I prefer the PS3 version, 360 version does not look as sharp to me, for once the PS3 version being lighter has helped.

i had tdu1 on 360 was a pretty good game just had dismal handling and performance was a bit shittery i hope its much improved.

Check out the marble wall thingy on the first two pics.. It has more detail on the 360 version from what I can see.

Xbox 360 version seems to have higher quality textures..
