We want to know where your allegiance will lie when both footie simulator giants hit the market in?

I like pes way more but i can play both i recently bought fifa because all my friends play it online

PopEmUp5024d ago

if you play fifa for awhile it feel so weird when Playing Pes, it also they same feeling when you play pes first then fifa

DMason5024d ago

FIfa is clearly the superior game. PES doesnt even hold a candle to it.

farhsa20085024d ago

Clearly you know nothing, the only reason fifa has been so successful the last few years is that they have been copying PES in everything that its a surprise it took them this long to catch up, however good fifa may be now it will never be as good as PES6 which is the best football game to date!

Yi-Long5024d ago (Edited 5024d ago )

... although FIFA's replays also suck, cause you should just be able to save them to your console's HDD, instead of having to upload them to the EA website!

I used to be a HUGE PES fanboy, having played the series ever since the first game on the SNES.

But after PES5, PES just went downhill, and the last few years FIFA has been the better option of the two. It's sure as hell isn't perfect, but it is VERY GOOD.

Hopefully this fall we will have 2 excellent games to choose from.

PopEmUp5024d ago (Edited 5024d ago )

look like you haven't play a single pes, I think pes4 have replay function, btw did you forgot to press the square button to save your replay?

turok5024d ago (Edited 5024d ago )

If FIFA was copying PES then there is one area they werent copying:''Gameplay/mec hs'' cuz otherwise then FIFA wud be utter crap.

Baka-akaB5024d ago

The question is fifa 11 vs pes 11 ... not how much each sucked or not in the past .

Right now when only looking at both games , i prefer pes 11 for its revamped gameplay , its modes and its realisation .

farhad2k85024d ago

PES just looks and plays childish, the interface is not as modern as Fifa's and Fifa's online can never be beaten Im afraid. Not to mention the tournaments around the world that can earn you real cash.

PES should just stop.

PopEmUp5024d ago

doesn't make fifa better, if pes can return to what make it best (gameplay) then the clear winner could be pes, but I still gonna play fifa 11 first, and see if pes is good enough for me to keep it or else I might return it to EB within 7 days :P

turok5024d ago

only time PES>FIFA is pc but since they will bring the engine EA uses for 360/ps3 versions to pc i think that will change it back to FIFA>PES.

NBA Jam ? w00t 0_o Thankfully I don't buy any sports games. I hope they are talking about NBA Jam disc based version not the On fire downloadable one

DOMination-4190d ago

I can understand the need to shut down servers. But doing it for games that only came out last year is a bit ridiculous.

I normally try and defend EA on here because I don't think they are as bad as many people make them out to be but but this would annoy me if I owned any of these games.

brish4190d ago

"EA Sports Server Shutdowns"

... and that is why I don't buy EA sports games.

RAYMEISTER4190d ago (Edited 4190d ago )

They're probably following 2k's lead. 2k has already shut down nba 2k12 servers. Which means the average life expectancy u can get from playing nba 2k13 (if u were to buy it now) would be about 10 months. Don't expect to play online longer than that. That means there product is a NO buy for me. If they offered LAN option on the pc side u could always use Tunngle to play online, but they don't so there's no way to play online.

torchic4190d ago

wow they shut down 2K12 servers already???

at least EA gives people 2-3 years to play online, wow. nobody can complain about EA now

and to be fair to EA they shut servers down based on what percentage of people still play online. I remember them saying that they shut servers down which make up less than 1% of traffic across all EA servers, at least that's what they say.

brish4189d ago

"nobody can complain about EA now"
- torchic

Yes we can. 2k sports are also on my "no buy" list.

Dark5tar14190d ago

They better not mean On Fire Edition.

Dark5tar14190d ago

"The decision to retire older EA titles is never easy." That's also what they said when they shut down the servers for BF2: MC.

NicSage4190d ago

I think maybe with the release of pay for your own server on BF3 this is what EA might continue to use for all games giving an option for people who want to play it online.

I'm so sick of EA and all the BS, i'm sick of a lot of publishers anymore.
