PS Universe writes: When it finally seemed as though the days of underachieving multiplatform titles were a thing of the past, 2K Games had to shock the world by releasing Mafia II to PlayStation 3 owners. This ridiculous development blunder, however, is something gamers of all platforms apparently won’t have to endure with the upcoming title — Rage.
Tim Willits, lead designer at iD Software, has confirmed that thanks to the engine behind the game known as the iD Tech 5, the development teams for each platform have been able to create a nearly identical product across all three (PS3, PC, 360). Willits credits this achievement to the fact that iD Tech 5 has been built from the ground up this generation, thus it allows the teams to shape it to the strengths of each console it is being developed for.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino teases the future of FIFA games in a brand-new interview, and NBA 2K24 studio 2K Games might be behind it.
Hmmm, let’s see how they do. If they riddle it with microtransactions, hell no. Otherwise, I’m excited.
2K Games will take the stage at Summer Game Fest, and it is about time we got some good news about the state of Mafia 4's development.
I hope it's Mafia 4. And I really hope it's set during the 70s or 80s, and not a prequel of the first game as was rumoured.
2K Games is preparing to reveal the sequel to a "beloved franchise" at Summer Game Fest, with fans speculating that it might be Borderlands 4, BioShock 4, Mafia 4, and numerous other popular games.
Please don't be a other generic Borderlands Game.
They are so boring due to the lack of innovation.
I doubt it's gone be mafia 4 but sheesh I know that atmosphere gone be on point🔥🔥 either franchise welcome
its should be pretty darn good on all systems
Actually game runs the same on PS3, 360 and PC. Runs at 60FPS aswell.
"The game plays at 60hz on each system and when you play a game at 60hz, versus 30hz like lots of other games, there’s a huge improvement with the precision, control, and sharpness." Games are not played at hz. Hz are for display refresh rates and frequencies of a wireless signal.
Does this mean that the PC & PS3 versions of Rage will have the extra environment that they had to remove due to the 360's limitations? They originally had 3 different environments with missions spread across all 3 places but the 360 couldn't handle it so they removed the 3rd environment and spaced the missions from the 3rd environment in the 1st & 2nd.
