I have yet to play either System Shock game. They are hard to find nowadays.
After playing the first Bioshock I went on a search for them with no luck.

I wouldn't mind a remake so I can get my hands on them for the first time.

the first system shock became abandonware so you could just download it. don't know if that's changed since bioshock came out though. I can't remember if SS2 is but I know through the looking glass had the rights and they went defunct.

edit: oh and make sure you get the hi res mods for SS2 it looks a million times better. theres 2, one for models and the other for textures I think the model one is called rebirth not sure what the other was though.

Right there with Perjoss as long as they leave the gameplay alone. I had to jump though 20 hoops to get SS2 to run under Win 7. Adding SHTUP and Deepfrier really changes things in a great way.

Irrational had nothing to do with BioShock 2, it was all 2K Marin.

Yerp, Bioshock 1 was done by Irrational Games, who very briefly changed their name to 2k Boston, but then back to Irrational Games. Bioshock 2 was done by 2K Marin.

What a great game. I liked making DC and Marvel characters using custom skins. Would play a friend of mines all night having duels like The Hulk vs Thing, Silver Surfer vs Thor vs Superman, etc. Fun game.

Would love for a new gen Freedom Force like experience. Make it set in modern times in a full 3D city similar to Infamous' but make it destructible.
