DICE has revealed the numerous enhancements made to the maps in the upcoming Onslaught DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Speaking to IncGamers, DICE man Bjorn Johnsson explained the various tweaks designed to make the maps feel different from their standard competitive multiplayer counterparts.

I understand the reasoning for this, because I see a huge influx of people on Modern Warfare 2 now in preparation for Modern Warfare 3.
The only issue is, Bad Company games don't play like the Battlefield games at all, so it's not like you can prep for Battlefield 3 by playing Bad Company 2.
Don't know if I'm pissed that this didn't happen sooner or just mad they haven't released any details on when BF3 beta will be.
They've said September for the BF3 beta. It is now September. Should be within the next couple of weeks.

i had to email ubisoft twice to get an assasins creed beta code for ps3, first time they thought i wanted a code for xbox, so i had to email back to say i wanted a ps3 beta code. but i would prefer to try bf3 on xbox.

"In case you missed the aforementioned disjointed ramblings, the premise is that you and three chums take on a limitless supply of AI bots in a game mode that can be lazily described as Conquest combined with Rush. Because I'm not that lazy, I'll elaborate: you and your pals advance on a series of control points – unlocked one at a time – and need to clear the surrounding area and then defend against enemy reinforcements until each point is captured. If you die, you can respawn on any surviving squad member, but if every member of your squad is dead at the same time, you lose."

the score makes sense, lacking in single player isn't the biggest thing in the world but if you can't play with 1 mate, then the amount of time you'll be playing with random /b/tards will be great.
I love BFBC2 and have been playing it probably more than any other game recently and I got the Onslaught DLC. It's fun but probably not worth the $10.
After I beat each level on normal and hardcore and got the trophies there isn't much else reason to play it. You don't progress like in normal multiplayer so I just end up playing that.
If I hadn't gotten all that free stuff with my VIP code I probably would have not jumped at the $10 DLC.
Always a shitty feeling when you pay for DLC and you just download a 100kb file to unlock what is pretty much already in the game you bought.
There’s a touch of controversy surrounding “Onslaught Mode,” Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s DLC, that needs to be cleared up. Yes, the download is a mere 956 KB. No, you’re not paying to unlock disc-based content. It’s part of the Multiplayer Update #2 patch that you’ll be automatically prompted to download when you start up the game. Is it odd that, should you never buy “Onslaught Mode,” the content will still eat up precious space on your harddrive? Yes. Now, if you weren’t someone angrily posting on a forum, sorry for the PSA.
