I didnt expect too much from this title but I think I will give it a rent after Im finished with red dead and modnation.

Montrealien5117d ago (Edited 5117d ago )

yeah, if you enjoyed the original sand of time series and approach this game as a tribute of sorts, you will not be dissapointed, it is a great action adventure.

edit: I just thought it would be funny to discribe today, in a videogame store. Red dead is selling like crazy, so is Alan wake, but the funny thing is the people coming to get prince of persia, that have no clue what is Red dead or Alan wake, yet here you have em, buying the latest Prince of persia. I love how diverse our industry has become, everyone is playing games.

All prince persia fans need to get this its on sands of time level only down play is the slow pace and then it picks it self up I really did not like last one as change bit to much this one gose back and is what loved about the first three.

I like the fact you can control elements such as water sounds cool but this is not immediate buy for me :)

Montrealien5117d ago

you also level up the prince as you go along and chose what elements to take advantage of first. The talent tree kinda reminds me of World of warcraft/diablo, albeit a lighter. the achievment clearly states the influence.

DING!

BeaArthur5117d ago

The platforming seems to be really good in this one. I'll have to check it out at some point.

Montrealien5117d ago

Think of it as the sands of time, but current gen.

CryWolf5117d ago (Edited 5117d ago )

The sands of time was a awesome game but this game doesn't even compare to any of prince of persia games where's the other dagger at like in sands of time or the other sword and why can't the prince pick up swords like the worrior within, WHY THE HELL can't the prince use Stealth kills like in the two thrones, Ign.com don't know a good from a bad one giving this game a 8/10 how ridiculous is at the forgotten sands deserves 6/10 or 7/10 not 8/10.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II Review - A Visual Feast Lacking Depth | Chit Hot

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II has now launched, bringing with it some of the most stunning visuals you've ever seen in a game.

The first game lacked depth as well, but the graphics were phenomenal

...not to mention the sound / atmosphere. Especially when using headphones.

Going to be real. I’m playing on my PC and every setting is on high at 60fps locked. The game is beautiful, sounds good in headphones (I’m sorry but Returnal still holds the aural crown), and has an impressive photo mode. Can literally hit that at any time. You won’t have full control at certain times, but it’s impressive. After more than an hour I’ve already started to get bored. The fights are brain dead so far and it is a CRAP ton of walking and listening. I’m over the beginning “theme” of you did this to us (people that have played will get this as not to spoil anything). I literally non stop run every chance I get. Obviously isn’t the whole game but gahdamn. Hopefully it picks up soon. Definitely can’t see this being a 10/10 by any stretch of the imagination because the beginning has gotten so boring. Here’s to a better experience tomorrow or Friday when I pick it back up.

Agreed. I've played about 34 mins & it was boring. I'm going to try again tonight for another half hour or so & see if it gets better.
